If you ever get a chance to refactor a 5/6 years old code , just do it .
Dont loose hope , you'll eventually have a great time .

Its totally worth the effort and time . I learnt so many things. (still in the proccess)

@devnulli exactly it's like pulling something outta hell. And those depreciation error hell is much worst than production bug ( sometimes I feel like)
