Companies be like.....

I find anything specific tech above 5+ years experience required silly. What kind of things can't you master in 5 years. Of course you get more proficient the more situations you encounter. The thing is did you encounter different situations in 10 or 12 years of was it just like one stable system.

@hjk101 definitely considering how some areas change a lot in just 2 years like the Web what would you do with more experience? Some of it will be outdated

@hjk101 EXACTLY!!! I’m always questioning why they need years of experience in tech that any developer who doesn’t fucking suck can learn quickly in a year or less. Wtf do you need years of experience in a framework like say react? Is it THAT complicated??? I’m not singling out react, just using an example. A lot of these things can be learned quickly unless you’re slow which is a bad situation if you’re a dev

What if God created this world out of spite of finding yet another job posting like this and condemned us to have hr who can't fucking google a tech before they post a job posting?

Just thing about the big bang: a loud booming sound, just like the one you do when you smash your fists on the desk screaming: "it is f-ing impossible to have 10 years of experience in Holland for f- sake!"
