Whoever brought this keyboard up a month or so ago...you forced my hand. I needed one...and now I am $160 poorer :/

But it is beautiful and Cherry MX Clear switches are amazing.

I named it after my favorite weapon in PSO "Last Survivor".

I got mine on Amazon. It's called the WASD Code keyboard.

    Awesome. It's expensive, but it's recommended 😁

May I ask what's unique about it to make it worth that much?

Looks incredible! But how loud is it?
  • 0
    @JavaRules extremely quiet actually

@crooks5001 it's about the price of other mechanical keyboards. It has the less common Cherry MX Clear switches. And it can switch to Dvorak mode with a toggle switch. Otherwise it's just a well built keyboard with nice switches that are somewhat uncommon.

@deusprogrammer sounds nice, thanks for the response.

Do you use Dvorak? How good is it?

I got it because I am interested in learning dvorak. Everyone I know who uses it tells me it's far superior to qwerty.

    What's special about it?

MX Blue FTW. Fuck up family & neighbours!

It looks an aweful lot like those 5€ dell keyboard they give you with every stock pc they sell. I sure hope it is better then that though.

Is it colemak a viable option for switching to?

@Bacontaskmaster for starters, those are what are known as rubber dome style switches. You have to fully press the key to actuate the key.

This is a mechanical keyboard. There are various switch colors that each have their own actuation force and feedback type, but generally they actuate with a slight press of the key instead of mashing it all the way down. This makes for faster typing, a more pleasant experience, and keys that last much longer than their rubber dome counterparts.

And as an earlier poster stated, get Cherry MX blue if you want to make your neighbors at work hate you.

@deusprogrammer i never really experienced a board like that so i have nothing to compare it to.

Also i never ever wore out any of my keyboards and i have a g15 that i used for more then 8 years now i think so, eh?

@Bacontaskmaster the G15 was a great rubber dome keyboard. I still have one somewhere.
