Hazarth95014yGood question. I never heard of it until now, but from what I read it sorta kinda looks like a pyramid scheme?
firstly
I'm not sure why they included the referral system in the first place... I guess to incentivize growth of population which is ironic, because I want to join it less now
secondly
apparently there are ads in the app... So everyday when you go and give the app the time it needs you also watch ads.. so that's now becoming an investment of *your* time and not just your devices power and you sharing it...
If anyone has anything good to say about it here on devRant I'm all ears -
JS96185344yUsed for a while, know people who still use it.. I don’t know for sure.
But I have to admit it doesn’t affect your battery usage and the fact you have to open it once a day, click on a button and see a small banner ad isn’t very invasive.
So the options are two:
1) It’s a scam, but you don’t lose anything, except few seconds per day and a few MB of your storage.
2) It’s not a scam and the fact it’s “difficult” to join the community (referrals are essential) it could actually works and be worth something at some point.
I personally don’t care since I wasn’t able to convince enough people to join, but, as said before, I know people that use it because were able to invite a lot of people and are earning a lot very fast, so the risk it’s bs and you will earn nothing is there but it’s not a painful one.
I prefer to invest in actual cryptos which you can trade, it’s more secure and you can make a lot of money quickly if you’re good at it.
I recommend Binance if you would like to try:
https://binance.com/it/register/...
(It’s a ref but we earn both, so it’s a win win situation) -
Hazarth95014y@JS96 after some more research I see it the same way. You'll probably make some dumb fuck super rich (the creators) but at the same time, you might get a tiny bit of the pie if it actually works out by adopting early.. hmm...
Would you be willing to share your referral code here? I'd much rather someone from devRant gets something for me joining rather than some rando on reddit, there's referrals everywhere -_-
