I spend fucking 6 hours of the birthday party of my girlfriends father fixing his M.2 SSD involving:
* driving through half of the city because the store nearby had closed half an hour ago... (and spending 30% more)
* cloning the drive back and forth (including several session of browsing to find the solutions to several errors)
* trying to repair bootloader (without success)
... Just to reinstall the old one because it wouldn't boot from the new one.

And tomorrow I'm going to a business trip and I all I wanted was to prepare some side projects for the 4 hour long ride.

Fuck you M.2 and mother fucking windows 7 for being such shitheads.

Windows 7 only works with uefi when the disk uses gpt. It is best to manually create the uefi partition using some linux live disk.
    Maybe this helps you.

    "I'm a developer. That's a hardware issue. I just use computers".

    Fixed it for you. 😁

@yamatoman Has that ever worked though? For me it usually ends in cursing, a soldering iron and the silent wish that people finally understand the difference between software and hardware.

@Godisalie it does when I've not done PC support for them before. I also use the "I just use a PC to get to my development environment. I've no idea how they work." excuse. Recently it's become easier. "I use a Mac. Windows 10 frightens and confuses me." 😂

It is always this "... can just make a short check, it is surely no problem for you" (which mostly is)... But that 5% though are the mind blowers
