I love identity framework... Up until MS decided to use strings as a primary key. Seriously?

    Allows for encrypted values.

    Specifically the id field... why would you need to encrypt it in the database? it's just a guid cast as a string.

    I saw a database that had strings with special characters as PKs...
    ...and they wondered why the database is slow
