After debugging this shit Java program for 2 days fucking straight, finally this shit works! Hallelujah!

Turns out, if you want to enable local DCOM/COM+ on windows, you have to not tell the piece of shit firewall that it should consider the network "public"...
WHY?!?
IT'S FUCKING LOCAL! NOT A SINGLE FUCKING NETWORK PACKET IS SEND! WHY?!?

The Windows firewall is dumb per design. It reacts on every network packet.

@stop because forcing users to run an spi firewall implementation on their personal machine definitely doesn’t come at the cost of any much needed resources...

Having to work with DCOM/COM+ ... you have my condolences.

It most likely sends packets via localhost for interprocess comms, and some overzealous firewalls will block this if it's not whitelisted.
