No not much can be done to track a random mac address anyway. But just a tip if you use linux or macX install macchanger and set it to randomize your mac address on startup where changing it manually won't be needed except maybe in long torrent downloads or something. don't know if windows as something to randomize the mac address or not but i figure their would since the mac address is changeable in the hardware settings

The thing is, they seized my laptop claiming that Mac Spoofing is illegal and a serious crime. I have enough proof now. Hell, I read a 60 page PDF on IT Laws of India.
I am SO ripping their sorry ass to shreds tomorrow! -
@achie27 oh hell no, at worse case they could say your not abiding to "fair use" protocals but they had no legal grounds to steal your laptop, even a police officer has no reason to get it cause there's no proof on why the mac address was changed

Jifuna37308y@T-Hammer oke thx! I was thinking of rooting my phone to spoof my mac because I'm kicked of my schools wi-fi. But that's not a good idea if I'll burn my chip :)
