Yeah. That’s the business for you. The closer you get to actual engineering the further you get from that.

Programming is about putting a bunch of logic together.

Engineering is about systems and process.

On the bright side, you're already trained to have kids..

NASA, maybe. It's all about accomplishing a mission, not making a product for a customer.

I guess this is the worst part about being a programmer.. having to communicate to business people in a way that they can understand and doesn't take up a great deal of your time. Unfortunately, you can't shun them since they run the business which pays your salary but other than that, I could care less about the business side.
