They are trying to control the market now, no longer letting any new PC be sold with windows 7/8/8.1 what is a jip, I don't believe they can state that diff if the person selling it paid for it the right way for resell, MC/Apple and so on all think they make it they own it, but I believe if we pay for it we own it.

@Rexzooly I haven't had to pay for an Apple operating system since Mountain Lion and even that was only $20.

But yeah all the major proprietary operating systems are trying to control the PC world.

@ytho I know Apple still spy and data collect but there OS is much better I give them that, I don't use my mac mini offen but when its booted up still runs well for a 4 gig 2014 model.

I installed win10 on my fathers old core2 duo 4gb ram, runs like a cat. Better than xp or 7 ever did, no reason for crappy old Windows versions to exist anyway

@Salmakis sadly you are wrong I have over £200 worth of games what as still good games to this data and they wont work at all on windows 10/8 older OS's are needed also older OS's are easier to mod and hack so MS can't spy on you :)

Old OS's are still as good, windows 10 just has a better all in one drivers then older OS's.

What are those games? I also got alot games, and could run all of them so far.

@Salmakis Well you clearly don't have games I play, All the older GTA games refuse bluntly to run on 90% of ALL windows 10 systems other older games are the same as windows 10 wont let you install the right options, this is a bug or problem in direct play and Diretx 8.1 with a lot of messing about you can get them sand boxed as windows xp or what ever but they don't work right or to the full settings, I have way more games but not listing them all its pointless, I use older OS's for the games the was created with it's a much better gameing feel, Windows 10 is a fast core its got so much fixed but so much let down for it by killing all support for older tech and software.

I know 10 is there, not sure about the older versions. Do you need older versions? If so, why?

@cankarales If they have 10 it's good enough for me but I don't see how they do it.

I happily deny any Win 8/10 installation and bought myself a Win 7 key online (on a somewhat sketchy site) for 24€. Win7 FTW

@lorki97 if you have updates on when you first get it you will still get the windows 10 updater and the telnet spyware it was updated to support 7/8/8.1/10

@lorki97 They are enabled by default on ALL installs cracked or not from windows 7 up, its something the user has to make sure they set up right asap like not giving the PC a internet connection before you got all your blocks in place, windows 10 unless you hack the hell out of it loves to push updates even when disabled.

@Rexzooly I took every so deeply hidden update feature and disabled everything. And if Win7 is dead sometime in the future I'll switch to Linux fully.

Windows 7 with no updates does offer gaming for most games still and runs many windows apps, It's a OK OS I give it that to say its age now.

@Rexzooly Only problem was the Installation as my Mainboard only has USB3.0 and WinPE is built for USB1.1.....

@lorki97 windows tiny 7 ? used Rev 2 beta for sometime and had driver problem but I sure you was able to interject updated drivers.
