I totally agree with you. There are some things in this life that one should not be forced to withstand. A lot of people don't take those kind of things seriously enough or they just think just it's something you can pretend never happened but with this picture you captured the very essence of the problem at its core: those red seats are awful!!!

I'm wondering what sort of deal would make this even reasonable...

@ple103 That's probably because for any normal size business (not Apple, Google, IBM) managing Apple devices in a mixed Windows / Apple environment is a fucking nightmare.

@lotd the kind that Apple give to educational facilities all the time. Here's 100 macs for [an actually reasonable price] . They do this with the intention of kids growing up learning osx instead of Windows, so they would be more inclined to purchase a Mac in the future. Guess they didn't account for this, haha.

@NTripleOne they still get the effect, that kids will see apple devices as the defacto and often scoff at other brands..
Or at least that's my observations.

Is... Is that what I think it is? Windows 8?! On a Mac?! As if Windows 8 wasn't bad enough! Oh the horror!!

That moment someone spends money on an overpriced PC then proceeds to pay more money for a shitty OS...

    What a waste of money...

A year or so ago, I had read some reasearch article on Hardware review magazine and they said apperantly (read ironically) iMac is the best hardware to run Windows on. This just remided me of that article. Cool. I bet it won't blue screen as often. 🤔

Besides if you give someone some standard pc hardware they handle it poorly, but I have seen people taking extra care of their mac hardware. Coz it looks luxurious! 😉
