Of course! Just get me to the speaker code in the terminal and we'll get right to hacking

As a self taught programmer who majored in electronics, I feel like a God.

Now for real, I hate that I can't say "I don't deal with hardware, sorry."

@BartBB I'm a self taught programmer, and I love taking stuff apart and try and fix it. My inlaw asked me to look at his RC boat. Told him I couldnt promise anything, and could get broken beyond repair which he was fine with. Spent a couple hours on taking it apart carefully, soldered a couple wires and works perfectly. Now I'm tempted to take it apart again, and try adding some components (pi zero + camera maybe?) for giggles :3

Sounds really fun. Try adding a few ultrasonic sensors and cut the voltage to the engines when it detects something within a specific range.

Heck, build your own RC vehicle, a car is the easiest. Make it autonomous!

If only I had time for these little funny side projects. @yusijs

@BartBB actually working on a car. Time is very limited, so 5 hours of work generally takes 3 months to get done :p My garage is on the internet as well which is nice. Took me 2 months from initial design. Works now tho, with ultrasonic detector to check if its open n stuff :)

That's nice. The first one I made was with ultrasonic sensors all around (4 units) and it was autonomous. Once it started driving it would keep travelling, once it encounters a certain block (a wall for instance) it would simply find a different way to travel.

It was a long time ago though, on the 11th grade.

@BartBB yeah, I bought a kit from pimoroni (i think), figured I'd try building a car for the kids. Problem is, they keep breaking stuff I make (only 1.5 and 3.5 yrs), so looking to 3d print a chassis to make it a little extra dureable.

That's a neat idea. I take apart broken kitchen appliances for their exterior and use that as the body. xD @yusijs
