Awesome got fired bc i caught the vp cooking the books by a factor of 1.2, mistakenly notified him of an obviously incorrect algorithm bc i thought the previous dev made a mistake.

Over here you could easily blow the whole thing open, take them down and then make a packet by suing for constructive dismissal.

Didnt know, ill just get another job cant be too hard. Prob is i need evidence, i generally dont think like that so i never get proof cuz i like to decieve myself in believeing in the honesty of others. Been just sitting around depressed feeling like a fool. Dont really wanna retaliate. Just sux that being honest is not an amicable trait nemore.

No offence but if you don’t at least flag it you’re just as dishonest as they are

@boombodies patience is a virtue and i play the long game, im more worried about my safety than their money. I cant jeopardize my security.

@boombodies flagging means telling having a cinversation with the analyst as to this error resulting in him being let go?

It could have been a bug though. No way to be sure than asking. Pretty stupid to lay you off over that (especially because if the next one doesn't stumble over that too, that would be proof of you being the better choice).

But on the other hand, you probably won't be happy working for dishonest people anyways...

@mithereal oh shit man my bad. Stay safe. Someone else will collect the debts that company’s lies incurred.
