And the light of hope is so tiny that font size 2 seems large in comparison.

Programming a microcontroller as per the datasheet is the norm in embedded though. E.g. for Cortex-M, the clock paths alone are enough to let hobbyists despair.

@Fast-Nop it does bring quite a lot of reading then again, who wants to code? Isn't the joy of embedded development to study data-sheets 😂

Well, atleast the documemtation is there for those MCU's. With some decent higher level functions in the standard lib. Try doing the same for some lesser known chips (eg. Sparkfun Artemis) and the gears will grind even more.
