Left, that way, i can see how the code goes and i dont miss stupid ;

Left can lead to unexpected behaviour in JavaScript. So, no.

There are 3 kind of people:
1. Those that open scopes on the same line as the statement for all languages
2. Those that open scopes on a new line for all languages.
3. Those who understand that each language has its code style, which you are expected to follow so new developers on the team can read the code fluently because the code is written using the well known standards and guide lines.

This stupid debate led the GoLang dev team to make code style and lint compile time errors so you would not have the freedom to make the code style differ from the guide lines...
