Investment was lost because we didn't have the AI feature yet. There go the new programmers I wanted.

    If something is hanging on "AI"... that sounds kinda iffy anyhow.

    Investments are never lost because of a lack of feature.

    Investments are lost because the product is too high-risk. Tone your product down to something deliverable and profitable and the investments will be there.

    Investments rarely care about the vision and the dream, they only care about making their money back and their profit. If they can be one-in-the-same, all the better.

    @AtuM this is true, but it's still a question of risk. Every good investor asks themselves, "can this be better than x-product?"

    At that point they're weighing risk IMO.
