Have been working as a freelancer since i was 14 with a lot of projects parallel to school. Just graduated high school and got my first job as a software developer only by using reference to freelance projects.

nice congrats, but don't ride that high horse too long. You'll certainly reach a point where you wish you'd had more background knowledge. Get a degree nonetheless. You know so that you can choose which high paying prestige customer you want to work together in the future. Best of luck!
