Are you currently in school? If so, your school (if they care enough about the students) should have a career center where you can go for a ton of help. My school's career center has an entire system dedicated to local companies looking for interns/recent graduates from the university. That could be a good place to start. This is usually the route most students in the states take. Looking on local company websites or job sites like Indeed can have some good leads.

To get an interview you would need to impress at first glance. This is where your resume and cover letter would shine. If you are in school, you probably don't have much or any real world experience so listing your relevant course work as well as personal projects (if you have any) is a must. And of course, companies realize you won't know everything just starting off so they will look for your ability to work which comes from your schoolwork and what not.

That was a bit long but I hope I helped a bit. Good luck!
