Have any of your worked on Normalized database? Am I the only one who always have to deal with non-normalized database

    In my experience, shitty designed DBs are much more common than well designed ones. All too often people think their DB is only a small part of their solution and anything will do.

    Non well designed databases are quite common.

    Some devs even go so far and go for the 'everything must have a unique sequence as primary id' pattern as 'it is the best solution'.

    But if u misaligned a button by 2 pixels because you forgot the mofo padding hell breaks loose.

    But guess this is just the normal insanity as being senior developer seem to mean 'I can deliver non sense sentences like a gatling gun' (only bullshit bingo buzzwords allowed) or I did this ALREADY 20 years ago and there cannot be better solution....

    God damn it... I've become old and grumpy as the world has really become a weird place... hierarchy over sense, business value over fun, time and money verses education and learning...
