tilde31438yIt was one of the first more reliable messaging apps which was not riddled with ads, etc. It was simple and got the job done. And a lot of people still use it. And then Facebook came in and fucked the whole scene. Me? I'd immediately switch to Telegram if the rest of my contacts did so too.

To dominate the messaging market. They tried to buy Snap Inc. too, and failed. That's why they're adding Stories on every app they own, to get over Snapchat.

donuts236728yMessenger is full of junk and always crashes and lags. WhatsApp is fast, minimal and doesn't crash... At least for me.

gacbl6218yI was going to go and update watsapp but decided to check devRant first and saw all the hate and shit that came with the update. So staying on the old version till the app dies on me and then switching to something else

Just like the messenger your day feature. I don't use just like I wouldn't use this one. But like someone sad in one of the comments before we are curious people and we will lose time watching what other have posted even if we don't care about it. -
donuts236728y@gacbl what feature? The only reason I have messenger and use facebook these days is because one person insists on using it.
I personally don't read status updates. -
@tild3 one tip, if you want to switch to telegram for security/privacy reasons, except for the fact that its not owned by facebook, telegrams security and privacy isn't great
Does anyone have an explanation why WhatsApp exists? I mean Facebook has messenger so why do they have WhatsApp?
