I simply write up my meeting notes and send them a copy asking them to check that i haven't missed anything. Do this as soon after the meeting as possible, They think you are on the ball even if you miss a few things. Plus it gives a paper trail if they say later "why hasn't this been done", you can simply refer back to this.
