I was seriously invited to a “Womxn in a Engineering and Tech” group (sorry, ERG — Employee Resource Group) at work.

What is “womxn”? Apparently some term that’s “safer” and “more inclusive” than “women” because it doesn’t contain the word “men.”

This is also from a company who lashes out at anyone who says words like “master/slave,” “leader/follower,” and “black/whitelist” because they’re racist. And they tell all of their customers and partners to use them, too.

They also only hire strictly minorities now — unless none apply for extended periods of time, in which case they’ll consider the white American guy. But not if he’s conservative.

@Root I’m a straight white male, but it seems like diversity hires are pure bullshit. Shouldn’t you just hire the person best for the job? Isn’t racism when the race of a person plays into the hiring process? Just seems like it’s gonna cause more division and prevent you from hiring the best candidates. But what do I know

It pains me to say America is Babylon. All the evil shit I didn't want to believe America was responsible for, was true. Like worse than Hitler bad.

The bright side is I know this now. I can do something about it. I can be a part of the solution. Something is coming, something big. Massive upset and shifting powers. I feel it in my bones.
