Windows Vista wasn't bad, the problem was hardware support. Also, people tried to install it on PCs that barely supported Windows XP...

And the memory leaks and bloat (came with my laptop Samsung x360 was even business edition). Booted it twice, was so disappointed in speed of the brand new laptop that I installed Arch. Major improvement never looked back.

To be fair ME was far worse though. The new driver model and crap drivers written for it accounts for the majority of Vista's problems.

Also MS posted wrong minimum specs. Computers with less than 1gb where sold with vista or promoted "vista ready". No amount of readyboast USB sticks is going fix that...

Amazon had Fire Phone lolol

So much proposed, so little done.
Instead they focused on the God forsaken garrisons :D

I don't think Vista counts as failure. It did made them $$$.
And it resulted in win 7.

What about WindowsME?
