My process to start new coding project?

Unless it was dictated by the powers that be, my process usually begins/began when I hear..

"It's impossible for us to make the program do that" or equivalent negative comment.

It triggers a "Someone hold my beer" area in my brain.

It's impossible for us to cure @Floydimus' depression

@electrineer I am not depressed, I am just bored and annoyed.

I love this, I'm the same. I had a meeting today to discuss my next piece of work, one of my colleagues was like "just ignore this weird bit, I don't know how to fix it". So guess who's ignored their current, unfinished task, forgotten about their next, unstarted task, and is fixing that weird thing?
