The CPU of my tablet is so underpowered. Intel needs to ditch the Atom line and just use the core i series.

    How old is it? The newer Atoms aren't supposed to be that bad from what I've seen (mainly in comparison to RPi). There's still likely a need for low power x86/x64.

    More important question - which OS are you using on that computer? I'm still (sometimes) using my old netbook (Atom N270 CPU and 2GB of RAM) with Linux and it works quite well.

    They rebranded their core M processors into I series because no one wanted to buy those pieces of shit fanless processors and they'll probably just do the same with their atom series
