Working at FB sucks. Managers talk make-believe . Gratuitous use of made up acronyms. Chaos chaos fucking chaos. I’m there only to pay my over priced rent.

Isn't facebook about to go down due to serious legal issues? And the whole free speech only for those who parrot the media narrative. So basically free speech doesn't exist on FB (or Twitter). I also heard facebook was the largest platform used for human trafficking too.

Sounds like a shitty place to work.

I work at a media company, Facebook has this "media program" and they assign you a special "media relations manager" that's really designed to get all your audience to get into their platform. If you don't know any better, you're like "fuck yeah, we are partners with Facebook" when what really is designed is to get more audience profiles. They have a lot of people with PhDs who's job is to get us glued to the screen more.

Yesterday, I deleted the FB app on my mobile because there's a default setting in the app that TRACKS YOU even if you're not using FB. And that privacy setting is buried several levels deep.
