I think you're not the first to notice this, and I also think that you're probably right and in *some* cases it might very well be headhunters on dating apps... though there will always be cases where it's just a normal person putting his work title in the description, without any side motives!

I always found tech recruitment (especially on LinkedIn) to be the exact opposite of dating apps:

On dating apps, nerdy guys get ignored by attractive women
On LinkedIn, attractive women get ignored by nerdy guys
