linuxer1088yYou can configure Studio to use lesser RAM. Try https://developer.android.com/studi...
Helped me a lot. -
Running Android studio alone is he'll, running it on Mac with 8GB if RAM and that thing is going crazy , too bad I can't tell my boss we need a new iMac 😐

i think you didn't go through the prerequisite. It requires a mainframe to run android studio

boo19974048yIts hell if you use the emulator. I mean it seriously is. Its fine if you use your devices for testing tho

gacbl6218yIn one of my recent rants I posted a screenshoot of my system monitor running android studio and an emulator on 4GB of ram.
So I know how you feel, it is truly a hell. But unfortunately I'm unable to upgrade to more RAM (too expensive). And I had to switch to firefox when running android studio with only 3-5 tabs opened at once if I want to have some what of normal workflow.
And the worst part is I was working on a mac with 16GB of RAM before :( -
coded for a long time on my old netbook with 3 gigs of ram a atom d525.
i know the struggle ... -
I 'member doing that not so long ago.. Using an additional 4GB USB drive as RAM helped.
Running Android Studio and Chrome with only 4gb of RAM is hell.
