Just received a connection request on Linked In of a Recruitment Consultant. Searched the company to see at least what they do and their official website is made by WordPress... I didn't even need to see the code of the first page to know that...

Guess many pick it because it's widely known, easy to install and somebody probably suggested it to them ^^

Just because the public site use WP doesn't mean the company is bad. It could have been contracted to a marketing agency for example. Or left to an intern. Or the decision was made by a non-technical person long ago and the devs have no say about what to use.
The screenshot clairly is a red herring though...
