Also I love how Google's posts are perpetually flooded with people complaining about hacked acccounts. That's what they deserve for saving on customer service.

People complaining about hacked accounts are:
1. Using no 2FA, or fake 2FA. If you receive auth codes on the device you also use the app on, that's not 2FA — Especially if your phone is also rooted.
2. Bots trying to hack accounts. I don't think that necessarily works with Google, but you can often sway companies to give you access to random accounts by pretending to be "hacked", and then providing only moderately sensitive information (Home address & birthday are often easy to find, even passport copies aren't all that private)
