Stuck with a problem I can't solve because GitHub is down! But that's fine! I didn't feel like being productive today anyways!

    Works on my machine 🙃

    @dontknowshit lol! That's strange! No matter what machine I try to access it from, it says there no server available for the request. But I just tested with my mobile data and that works! So the problem must be in my side!

    @Olverine raise your own little private cloud server, apply VPN between your pc and server
    and have no worries for the rest of your days..

    @darkwind VPN isn't a silver bullet.

    (Especially not against surveillance)

    If it works on your mobile ISP, but not on your regular ISP, it's most likely DNS.

    Routing could be, but small chance as your ISP then really needs to have fucked it up.

    @IntrusionCM VPN can handle wrapping DNS traffic to your server too.

    @darkwind

    Yes and no. The handling of VPN and DNS is rather complicated, as it entirely depends on the stack.

    E.g. OpenVPN has "block-outside-dns" for that reason, to prevent overriding predefined rules by using solely the VPN DNS.

    Just setting a simple DNS override is trivial.

    VPN opens a whole can of new problems.
