I am very happy with my M1 Mac however there is a good amount of software that isn’t compatible (even with Rosetta) like bluestacks

I might be happy(ier) if my employer buys me one, but only because maybe then things will spin up faster so I can actually focus on doing work instead of waiting several minutes and lose my focus with every bloody change.

Seriously, a 0.025 second spec takes 57.025sec to run on a good day, and well over 2 minutes on a slow day.

At that price point, the golden cage better be made out of platinum.

I mean, considering that you get decent graphics power but still no gaming, and that this will never run Linux in any meaningful way (Nouveau level shit). Hence, you'll have to trust a closed source vendor who just thought it would be a cool idea to completely invade their customers' privacy on another product line.

If i may ask what configuration and what work will you be doing on it?
