Why do you need more than 128GB storage on your phone?

Photos which are 50 megabytes each.

@donuts ha-ha. Offload to a drive. My mom literally filled a whole drive with endless photos.

On my phones, unless I'm on a trip without internet and take loads of videos, usually I have longer 20GB free.

@donuts I have 200 GB of music and audiobooks on my PC, everything as MP3. I'll never lose that due to some streaming platform closing down or removing it from their offers.

My first hard drive was 40 Mbyte ….., had to create two partitions since msdos 3.2 could only create 32 Mbyte partitions.

@donuts I've downloaded them preemptively because the sharehoster would remove the files. For the ones I already know, I will forget them so that I can enjoy listening to them again later. :)

The actual music is less than that, maybe like 150 GB, but that's on top of taking photos or, even worse, videos with the smartphone.
