CEO at work has a Mac elitist as a friend who somehow indoctrinated err I mean convinced him to get apple everywhere, now the most common issue is updating Microsoft products on the Mac.....

Mac elitist guys first name is Steve lol no lie, he also services the Macs which he expects to do so when no one is around, oh and did I mention he wants us to leave our passwords on our desks LOL, he doesn't work for the company and I really really don't trust him, glad I have a git repo, and I hope he doesn't delete anything on my PC (very reluctant to leave my password on my desk, so I may just convince everyone that my Mac is fine, which seems like it's doing it's thing)

Have you tried anything other than windows for an extended period of time?

I used Linux for the whole year of my r&d project, loved it and it's still on my laptop that I play around with every now and then, it's just co-workers use Microsoft products, and it's all very basic stuff too.

I have to use a Mac for the specific reason of coding in objective-c, I don't mind it too much, though it really is this Steve guy that I don't like, I sent him an email about the airport utility password and used my work email + work signature that shows my role as IT service (not really but it's part of my role as a developer sadly enough), instead of contacting me he immediately talks to the CEO instead who then says he'll fix it (immediately cut out of the loop at a company I'm supposedly am to partly fix computers), I've talked to him once and only over the phone he's very nit picky about tiny things.

@KnightsOfCode lol I wouldn't ever do that I say reluctant if I'm forced to I'd probably leave a fake password or something I don't want him touching my Mac
