My typical morning Teams exchange:
Newb: GM (requesting connection)
Me: GM (connection established)
Newb: How r u? (requesting headers)
Me: Good (headers sent)
Newb: You free? (ready for comms?)
Me: Sure (comms ready)

Feels like a bad internet protocol.

    Can't you explain to him to ask questions without all the unwanted etiquette?

    The next moron who asks me in slack:
    "can I ask a question?" will get ignored.
    Or a cat meme.... 🤔 bot time!

    @Oktokolo You aware you skipped authentication and permissions, right?

    @cprn
    Did not want to bloat the log, so screen sharing was assumed to be integrated in the groupware also handling the chat.
    Also assumed, that that wasn't the first use of the groupware. You could fill books of log with just getting screenshare, voice and video working the first time.
    So i essentially reduced it to the bare minimum when hardware and software just works and all users already know how to use them.

    This is in my teams status permanently, and I call out repeat offenders with, "Hi <person>! Please ask your question straight away, it helps to save time :) https://nohello.net/"

    @alturnativ I think I love this. Passive-aggressive chat status, here I come!
