I have to figure out what went wrong. Well, I know why the switchover failed (our database cluster didn't see the dead node as dead) but I'm not exactly sure why it didn't see it.

@dfox sounds like you've got a fun night of debugging ahead of you!

@bobotay yeah, it was amazing lol. We've had about 5-10 minutes downtime total since the app went live, and then, as I see now, we had about a 30 min outage begin right before TNW re-shared the article about us. I wanted to punch a wall for a while there when I saw that it had been reposted and we were getting, and probably lost a ton of traffic. Timing was amazingly bad but we learned from this.

@dfox aww man that sucks. Don't worry tho, they'll come back. This app is spreading. Some people are hearing about I through ads, some through friends, I heard about it in the Colorado Springs slack channel. Ain't no phantom node gonna stop this!
