When you are all assigned to make one specific program but get called out for plagiarism for making the same program even though the code is different. Great job

    When I was in my first programmer class I was asking this about there being a finite amount of ways to do a solution (well for homework for a class for beginner programmers), according to my lecturer it somehow is considered plagiarism lol

    Most of my lecturers think that if its not overly similar then its ok. But you need to be able to explain all parts of your code when they ask. Btw, go make your avatar~

    @nai87 I should've probably added context but yeah the situation was dealt with after the matter was brought up I just mostly found the situation baffling that he would jump to such a serious conclusion before looking into the matter. Also this was my first programming assignment at uni so I wouldn't expect a ridiculous amount of variety especially when the task is so specific.

    I also found him to be really patronising of me in general for that assignment. I remember he pulled me aside as he thought I had stolen code off the Internet because quote "I haven't ever coded like that"
