Cs101 - a 3 hour Friday morning lecture. 1st at uni doing computer science. Half asleep. I'm awoken by the professor

"You at the back - what's the answer!"

Alarmed but not too bothered I just say "I don't know"

He replies "yes you do! We just went over it"

I say I really don't know. Someone behind me says "64". So I say "64".

Professor sighs and says "no - 2 to the power 8 is 256!"

He never liked me after that.

Fair enough, though. You weren't paying attention in class.

3 hour morning lecture are hard that's for sure, that's what coffee is for though 😬
Even harder I have found is a 3 hour information systems security class from 6-9pm. Especially when it's 1 of your only 2 classes that day... The other which goes from 8-9:20am. A nice 8.5h gap between classes ;l

At least you were honest and learned something that day: be suspicion of who told you the answer.

That's not so bad. You're quite lucky to have such good teachers. 😊
