Just stay up a little longer and you'll go to sleep at 6 and wake up at 15. Then it's perfect.

sariel84473yAre you tired after you wake up?
Is your existing cycle interfering with your job? What about your daily responsibilities?
Truth be told, there's nothing inherently wrong with any of our sleep schedules. As long as it doesn't interfere with your health and continues to allow you to be productive in your life, you're doing great.
This whole "8 hours of sleep must happen at night" bullshit needs to end.
Sleeping is like eating. Not sleeping is your junk food, sleeping is your veggies. It doesn't matter when you eat, just as long as you eat what you need when you need it. I don't eat my helping of veggies today to meet my nutritional requirements for tomorrow. So you shouldn't sleep right now for what you need tomorrow.
Understand? -
Cure your vampirism.
Take dyphenhydramine (benadryl) and melatonin if you have to.
The benadryl will help you fall to sleep. It helps with the mind being too awake to sleep. Once you establish a habit taper off. I had issues with taking too much melatonin and couldn't sleep at all a while back. So I use it sparingly. Also, exercise during day helps too. Also proper diet. -
Same exact issue. Me and my gf discussed doing an all nighter this weekend to flip the whole sleeping thing around that way instead.
-
damn, at least it sounds pretty regular. for me it can be 1-11 one day, 5-8 the second and none at all the third ;(
-
@ScriptCoded ah man, from my exp you only do more harm this way. probably fine if you're temporarily out-of-sync with your schedule but it always messes me up even more in a long run
-
@HCC5GDKc7 I feel you.
mental overdrive kicks in and the sleeping time drops like a stone.
just like flipping a switch and instantly forget, where you've put that damn thing afterwards. -
@HCC5GDKc7 Hmmm perhaps... Don't know how to get out of this though 🤷♂️ We stay up to 3 and then I got to go to work at 7...
-
Root797793ySame exact issue. Sleep at 2, up at 9:57.
I get tired at 8-9pm and would happily go to bed then, but everyone keeps me up until 10:30 or 12pm, and by then I’m wide awake again and can’t sleep until 2. And if I’m particularly stressed, sometimes I can’t sleep until 5. -
That's actually seems like a normal sleep routine to me. You are getting a proper 9 hours of sleep.
If your work timings don't match accordingly, then you can ask for different shift at work.
I sleep at around and wake up at 11:30ish by the way. -
Hazarth95373yQuickly? No... You need to set a schedule that fits you and keep to it. Make a habit of going to sleep at a certain time. It will take time whether you like it or not. All "quick" solutions will have you rebound into old habits soon.

kaheidt13ySame as jetlag. Stay up 24-36 hours, then go to sleep at a normal time, reset your schedule.
Any suggestions to fix my sleep schedule quickly? I sleep around 2 and wake up at 11.
