I started out as a data entry guy. I learned VBA because dealing with thousands of products in excel by hand was a pain in the ass. Among other things, I wrote a macro to combine multiple products into an importable Magento custom product. From there I learned HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP and never looked back.

Nice! My first job involved getting some files from clients computers and sending them to the respective accountants, man, it was a week long task. I could think about was doing something about it, I didn't understand much of programming back then but I knew our devs used c# to make our softwares, then I made two programs, one to sit at client pc sending the files as binaries to a SQL db, and one for me, to retrieve it, decode, zip and send as email.
What was once a week long job, nowadays take about a minute to go through everything, I love coding 😍
