What would you recommend for someone wanting to be a sysadmin?

@No-one why? I already am familiar with systems, servers, routers, networks etc. But someone won't hire me just because I say I can :p

@No-one true. But wouldn't hurt to try ;) And if I do happen to land a job then it's doing something I love. I've tried the backend programmer end of this stick, just couldn't get it, I haven't done front end for so long it's hard to remember somethings. But I sysadmin daily, rather it be at home helping family or at a friend's house helping them.
