Oh god, I hate to ruin your joke (yes, I am not fun at parties) but I can't help myself xD

A handful means a small quantity, usually around 5 apparently but can be a bit more and a bit less. It's an amount that you can comfortably hold inside a closed hand

But There's 27 bones in the hand and Im sure that by Definition There's no way you can hold most of the hands mass in a single closed hand. It's probably more like two or three handfuls!
