A colegue of mine replaced his Windows installation for Ubuntu. Then he replaced the Ubuntu wallpaper for the Windows 10 wallpaper and installed a dock with the Snow Leopard theme.

Since there's ricers in the car scene, I think he's a desktop ricer.

I didn't go cross-platform like that, but I have a G5 cheese grater running OSX Leopard that has the system font set to Chicago, all of the icons replaced with the set from System 7 (pulled directly from it via SheepShaver), and Sosumi set as the error beep.

@Kaji Well, in my eyes that's almost like having Windows 10 with the classic theme. "Not that bad". Now he mixed 3 OSs and frankly he didn't got the best part of either of them.

@m93mark Random colors, 2000-ish window effects and crazy mice pointers are norm in most people but there's a lot of people that luckily get them right.

This was what I achieved the last time I tried to "play" with deskmodding on Linux:

@milkbytes yeah some are crazy ( hannah montana linux is better then some of them...) with crazy pink/green neon colours, but others are just fine with good colors and icons. Now I'm pretty much stucked with solarized colors (easy on the eyes) and numix circle icons but I go there out of curiosity from time to time.
