why the fuck do interviews ask me about architecture and shit?

the role of a normal code monkey ur hiring for probably doesnt have the code monkey making the architecture decisions

i dont make the architecture decisions in my current role either

im happy to learn, and point out if i think things are weird when encountering specifications , but goddamn fuck off

    @Demolishun none of these roles i've been interviewing for are senior, im not a senior so im not hunting senior roles

    Well, in an interview it's hard to have a talk about the nitty-gritty parts of coding. most interviews about code automatically lead to discussing high level stuff.

    knowing how to make code and how to run it in something larger than a microwave oven is what separates code monkeys from fullstack apes.
