Idk, managers in general suck.

Good managers are good managers because they elicit loyalty from their subordinates because they provide the bare minimum of treating you with the respect of being a fellow human being.

It's the long con of manipulation.

Middle managers only serve as a buffer between upper management and the general labour so upper management has plausible deniability when the labour teams push back.

It's the one reason why I want to quit my job and become a mushroom farmer. Management sucks.
