The "code" refers to the police behavior that gives fellow officers a free pass when committing crimes. I am redefining the "code" to mean we give a free pass to JS devs for things because they are handicap. The Tide pods are a reference to the Tide pod challenge. To suggest JS devs do this challenge and/or eat Tide pods.
