Not showering (or not using tabs) is a big enough flaw that it's breakup worthy.

Showering (or using tabs) isn't a sufficient virtue to override any other flaws, and thus does not prevent breakups.

So sorry to say it mate, but you might have some other flaws. Perhaps it's a commitment problem. Are you pushing bad broken builds?

Using tabs is a good enough reason. 2 spaces people, I like to read my code on 1 monitor.

@RTRMS so set your editor to 1px tab width if you want, that's the point of tab - to define a level of indentation, not define how big the indentation appears. Don't mix your view with your controller and/or model :)

Tabs only allow nice vertical aligning when everything is very simple.

@Ashkin if your code is not simple you're doing it wrong. Granted, there's some situations where you can't shorten things and you end up with a long line that you want to split up into multiple lines and that often doesn't align perfectly if you use only tabs, but it's not supposed to align perfectly with the text, it's supposed to align perfectly with the indentation.
