Absolutely. It's like the joke: what's the difference between a lawyer and a bucket of shit? The bucket.

I'm kind to them simply because their job sucks. No need to make them more miserable.

You have no idea how difficult it is to be a recruiter. It requires huge amounts of will power to step over your values and beliefs to reach out yo someone, knowing you may get his/her hopes up, waste his/her precious time just to say "sorry, you're not a good fit" 3 weeks later.

But that's the job. And it is a much needed job to keep both companies and specialists well.

@ars1 You're right about internal recruiters, but I'm talking about external "head-hunters" / agents.

Where I'm at they are the worst people ever.
