    While we all do this from time to time i recommend using Chromes debugger as it helps a lot.

    Yes, on the very first version, just to reassure it's working as and when expected, usually on otherwise empty functions.
    For everything else, browser debug is fine 😛

    If it's web, I usually do printf as hidden HTML elements, under one class "debug".
    It takes just one js function to toggle them all and shows the true horror behind the fancy webapp 😀
