Can someone brag about using Arch when he spends more time using a live Ubuntu system to fix his Arch installation than actually using Arch?

@aviophile I too, i write code that runs on bare metal. But i need some kind of a system that i can use to write code, compile it (yes, i know, i am a C peasant), manage versions and flash it to the the controller (yes, i know, i am a flash peasant and don't use ROM masks that are permanent) and that is currently Linux (i thinking about switching to freeBSD but that has no socketCAN).

They're just doing it wrong. I use the same arch install for years without any issue as my main work laptop, and I'm updating it regularly.. doesn't break
